As many of you have heard, the devastating floods in Central Texas have claimed over 100 lives, including approximately 30 children. Recovery teams continue to search for those still missing. The pain and grief of the families impacted are unimaginable, and the journey of healing and rebuilding their communities will take years.

One of the hardest-hit areas was Camp Mystic, within the Archdiocese of San Antonio. In response, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of San Antonio is providing emergency assistance to those in need—offering bottled water, blankets, clothing, hygiene kits, and other critical supplies.

Our Archdiocese of Washington has already extended support, with Cardinal McElroy requesting and sending emergency funds to help our brothers and sisters in Texas. We now invite you, the faithful of our parish community, to consider contributing as well.
