Do you remember how the old entrance on M Street used to look?
Here’s a glimpse of the past:

And here’s how it looks today:

The M Street entrance was once the main access point to our parish offices and the sanctuary of St. Vincent’s. However, with the relocation of the parish offices to the rear of the building, the back entrance—accessible through the parish parking lot—gradually became the primary point of entry. As a result, the original M Street entrance fell into disuse and eventually into disrepair.
The fence that once separated the entrance area from the sidewalk had been vandalized and no longer served its purpose, posing a safety concern for passersby.

The first phase of the renovation addressed this issue by removing the damaged fencing and installing new mounting posts securely set in concrete.
In the second phase, the overgrown and neglected garden area was cleared and repaved. This area will now serve as a welcoming space for parishioners and visitors alike. Additionally, the windows and entrance door were repainted to harmonize with the building’s overall aesthetic, and any window damage was repaired to prevent future leaks.

To enhance the visual appeal of the façade, new lighting was installed, giving the M Street entrance a warm and inviting appearance in the evening. Here are a few photos showcasing the site at night:
Finally, the pavement was sealed, and a fresh coat of sealant was applied to give the entire area a clean and polished finish.
This modest project has given our beloved church a more welcoming and cared-for appearance. Thank you for your continued support as we look forward to many more improvements in the future.
In Christ,
Fr. Michal
